Beijing Wincomn Technology Co., Ltd. has recently renewed its three-year exclusive distribution agreement with 7thSense, a UK-based pioneering creative software and technology company, renowned for its cutting-edge media servers and image processing solutions. Wincomn will continue to be responsible for the sales and market promotion of 7thSense’s media servers and image processors across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.

R-Series

The R-Series includes the R-Series 10 and R-Series 8. The R-Series 10, catering to the needs of the most demanding generative projects and complex media-based attractions, including high-quality video playback, pixel processing, and control capabilities, supports up to six channels of 4K or twelve channels of 2K. The R-Series hardware range is optimised for the most challenging of use cases and leverages the power of generative engines like Unreal Engine® and Unity®. The R-Series 8 hardware provides the flexibility and reliability of the R-Series 10 hardware, supporting 2 channels of 4K and 8 channels of 2K, at a price point suitable for midsize projects.

P-Series

The P-Series 6 hardware solution caters to the needs of media-based attractions and generative media projects. It provides the flexibility and reliability of the award-winning R-Series hardware in less rack space and a price point suitable for lower resolutions or output counts, supporting 2 channels of 4K or 4 channels of 2K. In addition to media playback applications, P-Series 6 can run generative engines like Unreal Engine® and Unity®. 

Equipped with advanced PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 graphics cards and storage devices, it delivers outstanding performance with exceptional stability and reliability. It is well-suited for applications such as media-based attractions, museum exhibits, projection mapping, LED walls, architectural LED, real-time edits and collaboration, live events, and generative and interactive media.

Delta Media Server

The Delta Media Server platform provides a huge set of tools to manage and play back uncompressed media onto pretty much anything – including buildings, vehicles, and

even moving 3D objects! Whether you need projector alignment, timeline-based show creation, live capture content streaming – Delta has it all as a solution to coordinate all resources or devices and play back media shows – including compositing live captured media. The Delta Media Server platform is compatible with the new R-Series 10, R-Series 8 hardware, and all existing installations of Delta continue to receive the same level of exceptional service and support.

Actor Media Server

Actor® includes the renowned reliability, quality, and dependability that the Delta Media Server technology is known for, along with improved flexibility, scalability, and usability. It was designed with system programming in mind, and leverages the power of the hardware that it runs on. It performs the role as an actor would in a play, a film, or a show - playing back the images, or the ‘script’. But it’s still able to improvise and make a few adjustments to its performance.

Conjurer

Conjurer brings the well-known generative engines (such as Unreal Engine®, Unity®, TouchDesigner®, and Notch®) into the Compere workflow to allow control, show programming, and configuration of the generative clusters within the same UI and workflow as the Media Servers and Pixel Processors. Conjurer also supports game engine cluster rendering for Mega Canvasses. It allows for shows, and experiences, to be created ‘on-the-fly’ as a highly adaptive and powerful generative solution.

Juggler Pixel-Level Image Processor

7thSense’s Juggler® pixel processor range is designed to manage large canvas, multi-screen, and blended display systems. Typically, these applications require a high level of flexibility, signal density, and extremely low processing latency.  In line with the 7thSense support of the highest-grade uncompressed content on their media server platforms, the Juggler products have the headroom and scalability to support incredibly large systems, maintaining the quality of content from file to screen. As a flexible and customisable product line, Juggler supports input and output signals up to DCI 4K @ 60FPS 12-bit 4:4:4, or various other signals at 120FPS.  

One of the most stunning recent showcases of 7thSense’s technology is the Las Vegas Sphere—a breathtaking venue that took six years and $2.3 billion to complete. This 157-meter-diameter giant LED sphere, now an iconic landmark in Las Vegas, houses 18,600 seats and features an ultra-high-resolution LED display on the exterior and interior dome, which relies on dozens of Actor media servers, Conjurer content-generation media servers, and Juggler processors from 7thSense. The interior screen boasts an impressive 16K × 16K 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 display, setting a new standard for immersive entertainment.
